Buy Bulk Baby Ruth Chocolate Bars Online at Moo-Lolly-Bar Australia

It is a commonly held belief that Baby Ruth candy bars were named after the famous baseball slugger babe Ruth. Yet according to the manufacturer this is not true. They were, they maintain, named in honour of Ruth Cleveland, the daughter of the then US President Grover Cleveland. Though some cynics believe this was just a ruse to avoid paying Babe Ruth any royalties.

If I was to be named after a chocolate bar then I would be happy for it to be something like a Baby Ruth. Launched in 1921 by the Curtiss Candy Company who refashioned its old ‘Kandy Kake’ product to make it, Baby Ruth is a hearty mix of peanuts, caramel and chocolate flavoured nougat all covered in delicious milk chocolate. Similar in look and texture to a Picnic, it is the kind of chocolate bar that gives your mouth a real work out.  Quite chewy, but full of flavour, it certain can be considered a satisfying treat.

Famously featured in the films Caddyshack and The Goonies, where Sloth was their self-confessed number one fan, Baby Ruth are available online in Australia from specialist online retailers like Moo-Lolly-Bar. Manufactured now by Nestle they weigh a hefty 59 grams per bar they are sold as a bulk box of 36. To find out more about the product or to buy Baby Ruth bars online please click here.
